In the past few decades, INGOs have become key partners of international organizations (i.e. WHO and UNICEF) and nation states in providing health services, particularly to victims of disasters and the vulnerable or hard-to-reach population. Pfeiffer (2003) discussed the potential impact of INGOs’ help on local health system in Mozambique. Do you agree or disagree with Pfeiffer’s view regarding INGO’s influence and the new aid system?
